Mela creates safe havens for young Pasifika Rainbow+ community members while also holding space for the elder generation of MVPFAFF+. She is dedicated to nurturing wellbeing, connection, and a sense of belonging across all ages in her community.
Driven by her passion for her community, Mela knows there's still important work to be done and approaches it with dedication and care. Outside of work, she loves early morning walks at Ambury Farm, learning new languages, and, most importantly, eating (teehee). Her first language is Samoan, and she also speaks English.
