Madonna brings 18 years of experience in Child & Adolescent Mental Health, alongside experience as a medical receptionist and in laboratory data entry and specimen reception. On the Care Team, she offers a flexible approach - whether it's therapeutic talanoa sessions, healthcare guidance, or wellbeing education, there's no wrong way to engage and no topic off limits. She starts each session by asking how the young person would like to begin, whether with casual conversation or diving straight in, always making space for comfort and trust.
Having grown up as the 'sensitive kid' who often felt misunderstood, Madonna is driven by her desire to help others figure out what works for them and how they want to navigate life. She finds joy in witnessing young people grow, learn, and even teach us through their creativity, talent, and innovation. Born in Samoa, raised in South Auckland, and drawing from her Samoan heritage, she values building genuine connection, trust, and respect - ensuring young people feel seen, cared for, and free to be themselves. Outside of work, Madonna dreams of karaoke stardom and exploring more of the world. She speaks English.
