Jazriel is committed to creating safe and inclusive spaces for Pasifika Rainbow+ / MVPFAFF+ young people and the wider community. She ensures these are spaces where young people can be their authentic selves - feeling seen, heard, and valued. Her work focuses on strengthening wellbeing by celebrating cultural and family values, while empowering youth to grow into confident, self-assured leaders in every space they enter.
Driven by a deep sense of purpose, Jazriel strives lead by example, being a role model for the Rainbow+ / MVPFAFF+ community and reflecting what young people can aspire to be. Her journey has been shaped by the support of her Rainbow+ / MVPFAFF+ whanau, who paved the way and lifted her up to where she is today. Now, she carries that legacy forward, honoring them by paving the way for the next generation. Beyond her work, Jazriel has been part of Aotearoa's Ballroom scene for over 15 children within the Ballroom community. She speaks Samoan, Niuean, and the unique lingo of the Rainbow+ / MVPFAFF+ and Ballroom scene - so basically, she's fluent in life, culture, and fabulousness.
